本项目是省级重点项目，项目占地247亩，总投资117000万元。按照规划，医院建筑面积近200000平方米。项目按照三级甲等综合医院的标准，设计医疗编制床位999张、医养结合床位500张。一期为综合大楼项目，二期为内科综合楼项目，三期为体检中心、行政、科教楼项目。隆昌市人民医院西区医院的建成，将有效提升隆昌市医疗卫生综合服务水平，让群众享受到更加优质的医疗卫生健康服务保障。
